The Clear Vision Impact Fund Announces Freebee’s Successful Exit
NEW YORK, September 16, 2026 – The Clear Vision Impact Fund (Clear Vision), a direct lender to small and mid-sized companies in the U.S. since March 2021, notes the successful exit of Freebee from its portfolio.
Freebee is headquartered in Miami, Florida and provides free, on-demand transportation throughout Florida and select states along the Eastern Seaboard. Nearly 300 of Freebee’s 600+ employees, 616 of which are currently in Florida, were added since Clear Vision’s 2024 investment in the company.
Clear Vision made its first loan to Freebee in May 2024 to support its scaling efforts and working capital needs. Over its 2+ year hold, Freebee deepened its Florida operations, expanded across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, and experienced increased top- and bottom-line growth.
Freebee recently completed its combination with Beep, Inc., bringing together Freebee’s proven human-driven microtransit platform and extensive municipal operating network with Beep’s leadership in autonomous mobility. The combination creates a comprehensive mobility platform capable of delivering human-driven, autonomous and blended transportation solutions to communities through a single partner. Freebee will continue operating as the company’s microtransit brand as the combined organization enters its next phase of growth.
“Clear Vision came into Freebee at an important point in our growth and gave us the capital and flexibility we needed to continue scaling the business,” said Jason Spiegel, Co-Founder and CEO of Freebee and President & Chief Growth Officer of Beep. “Over the last two years, we’ve grown significantly, expanded into new markets and continued proving the impact our model can have in communities across the country. We’re incredibly appreciative of Chris Williams and the entire Clear Vision team for believing in us and being a true partner throughout this chapter of our growth.”
“Freebee has differentiated itself with its entrepreneurial mindset as it has grown across Florida,” stated Christopher J. Williams, Principal of Clear Vision’s General Partner and Chairman of Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC. “When we launched Clear Vision, we strove to support the growth of small businesses that may not be served by traditional lending sources. We look forward to following and supporting Freebee as it continues to expand its free and efficient all-electric transportation throughout Florida and nationally.”
This represents the second exit for Clear Vision’s private credit strategy since March of this year, and the fourth realization across its portfolio since March 2021. Terms of the deal are not disclosed.
